SCHOLAR SPHERE SUMMER DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM (SDP)
Scholar Sphere Leadership & Development Program
Summer Development Foundation Phase
The Scholar Sphere Summer Development Foundation Phase, also known as the Summer Development Program, is an intensive eight-week academic bridge program designed to prepare students for successful entry into º£½ÇÉçÇø.
The program supports students who show strong potential but require additional academic preparation prior to beginning their first fall semester. Participants strengthen foundational skills in English, mathematics, and reading through structured classroom instruction, academic workshops, mentoring, and computer-assisted learning.
In addition to academic coursework, students receive advising and support that helps them become familiar with university expectations, resources, and campus life. While coursework completed during the program does not count toward graduation credit, students who successfully meet program requirements are eligible to enroll as freshmen in the fall semester.
Students who complete the program also continue into the Scholar Sphere year-long academic support program, which provides ongoing guidance, mentoring, and academic monitoring during their first year at the university.
