ITTA BENA, Miss. — The Mississippi Delta (MS) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, in collaboration with ��������’s International Programs Department, hosted the 2025 “Sowing Seeds of Service – Internationally” Spring Day Party on March 29 inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex on MVSU’s campus.

ITTA BENA, Miss. — �������� celebrated its 75th Founder’s Day on Thursday, April 10, with a full day of events honoring the institution’s enduring legacy, commitment to service, and the pioneers who helped shape “The Valley.”

�������� will mark a significant milestone in its storied history as it hosts the 75th Annual Founder’s Convocation on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Walter Roberts Auditorium inside the H.G. Carpenter Building.

Held under the theme “A Celebration of Service: A Legacy Unveiled,” the event is a centerpiece of MVSU’s yearlong 75th anniversary celebration and will honor the university’s enduring commitment to academic excellence, service, and community uplift.

ITTA BENA, Miss. — �������� (MVSU) students earned top honors at the 2025 Association of Computer and Information Science/Engineering Departments at Minority Institutions (ADMI) Symposium, held March 27–30 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

ITTA BENA, Miss. — �������� will host the 27th annual Constance G. Bland Women in Science and Technology (WIST) Conference on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Earl Tucker, a proud graduate of �������� (MVSU), earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1967, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in 1968. Despite receiving full-ride graduate scholarship offers from elite institutions, including Ivy League universities, he chose to remain at MVSU to complete a second undergraduate degree. This decision laid the foundation for a distinguished career in labor leadership.

�������� (MVSU) continues to shine globally as it celebrates its Fulbright Program participants and international scholars for the 2024-2025 academic year. As a Fulbright Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Institutional Leader, MVSU remains committed to fostering cultural exchange, educational excellence, and global engagement.
